CBD for Viral Herpes | Lets talk about CBD | CBD Forum

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I've been looking for a place where I can share this information with others. I am 66 year old woman. I've had Viral Herpes type 2 for 40 years. I have breakouts frequently having a lot to do with stress. Three years ago I started using CBD oil with 20-1 CBD?THC. I also smoke pot. After a couple months I realized I had not had a Herpes breakout. I thought it could be the CBD. I continued on and went a full year without a blister breakout. At some point I quit the CBD and the blisters started again. That was when I was convinced the CBD was sepressing the Viral break outs. Recently I quit the CBD again because I was having surgery. Within 2 weeks I was experiencing Herpes viral blisters again. I am now 100% certain the CBD is blocking and suppressing my Herpes breakouts. Once and while I get a little tingle that is the start of a blister, it shows up briefly, never becomes painful, and then dries up and goes away in less than 24 hours. I had read recently a study from OHSU Oregon Health that they saw signs that CBD may also suppress the Viral load of Covid. I had wondered myself about that possibility since Herpes is also a virus. I'm interested in sharing my experience and hearing from others who may have also had similar results.
